Hi, I received this e-mail, and I would like to know if this is a possible scam, I know better now not to buy cars online, but I would like to warn people, so if it is, please let me know?

Seems not to be taken as spoof mails and they managed to pay them £600 for a buying from the irresponsible and unsafe eBay.
Just anyone could steal others account, put an item for sale, manage to take a bidders email, let him try to reach them as they vanish the item and then use a fake agent respond from eBay buyer protection program (protection program for eBay only and a management tool..), just to make thing more believable..

My research indicates that Ebay is not involved in any of these scams. A typical scammer will place an online advertisement for an item at 33% of the market value. The criminal then portrays Ebay by stealing the trademarks and graphics of Ebay and placing them into emails from, “ebay@vpp.com” or something similar. Personally, I buy very few thing off Ebay — not because of scammers, but because Ebay allow sellers with no conscience to use their service.
