louisgraham311@gmail.com strikes again through Kijiji then ask you to provide your name and address so he can register you with his fake ebay company. He stopped sending emails when I asked him for his address info in the UK and his phone number.

My son just emailed him about a 2002 red GMC 1500 pickup on autotrader in Calgary. Got response that truck was in storage in thunder bay and that he had moved to uk. I smelled a rat and responded -sounds like bullshit. This guy is a real piece of sh*t

Louis Graham is still trying to scammed somehow with a false used car (Volvo XC90) ad on Auto hebdo. I am glad this database exists and that people like you fills it and consults it.

  6. Baba said, on July 2, 2011 at 6:10 pm

I got a reply from Louis Graham regarding a similar ad for an Infiniti G35 from autotrader.ca. The story was the same that he has moved to UK, and the car is in Thunder Bay with a shipping company. Sent me lot of pictures of the car as well. Made it look very real, but then I ran into this forum, and got my suspicions right because when something sounds too good to be true, it probably is. thanks everyone for the heads up

    Thanks

Glad I put this guys email into goole and got this scammer comments. Here is what the guy emailed me about a 2001 Siverado truck stored in Thunder Bay:

    From: Louis Graham [mailto:louisgraham311@gmail.com]
    Sent: July-04-11 3:01 PM
Subject: Re: Chevrolet Silverado 2500 2001

I have attached some photos to my email. I’m in England. Look how this works:

    1. I will contact eBay and give all the info about this deal.
    2. They will send us the forms by email – for you about the payment.
    3. I will send the vehicle to your location and you will send a 50% deposit to eBay.
    4. After you will inspect the vehicle and decide to keep it, they will transfer the money into my account.

    RETURN POLICY:
If by any reason the vehicle is not as described, or if you find any problems with it I will pay for the returning fees. I’m sure it won’t be the case because the vehicle is in excellent condition.
As soon as the vehicle arrives, you will test it and if it does not match 100% to your expectations, you will return it in max. 5 working days since the arrival date. In this case you will send me the vehicle in the same condition you received it.

The estimated time of delivery is 2 to 5 days, with no scratches, it is professionally crated.

Please provide me with your full name and shipping address so I can register the deal with eBay.

    Thanks

Same scam, different alias (Brenda Baker) and story. This time the scammer lives in kitchener waterloo but is in thunder bay renovating a family home and requires a bigger car for her twins.

Peter, I don’t know for sure if my car will still be on the market when I’ll be back home. I hope not, because the price is set up for a fast transaction and I need a 7 seater very fast, twins don’t seem to fit in a regular car these days:). I found one already but the seller wants me to move fast, hence my affordable offer. the cash I’m getting from my car is gonna help me upgrade to my wish. anyway, I knew it from the beginning that I must leave town and finish the house here, hence the eBay alternative to sell my car. the eBay Vehicle Protection Program acts as a neutral third party to guarantee a safe transaction between both parties. In brief, this is how it works:

    1. once I have your full name, address and phone# I will forward them to eBay so you will be notified with the forms needed for this transaction (invoice, payment instructions, buyer and seller protection policy).

    2. upon starting the process and your decision to move forward, you will be notified on every step taken. the car is already at eBay shipping company here in TB, in their custody, along with the title and all papers/documents. Their British shipping company will be in charge of the delivery process to your door and handling payment. The vehicle will be brought over in order for you to inspect/test it – loaded on a trailer and fully insured during the trial period and transportation. This comes with up to 5 days inspection period (the shipping fee is $149 and you will only be charged upon vehicle acceptance). Full payment is required by eBay to do this, using bank transfer as method of payment. For obvious safety reasons, any payments are being handled directly through them and their British shipping company, so I’m only getting paid at the end, once you’ll be in possession of the car and upon your decision to keep it. On the other hand, full refund is also guaranteed same day in case you decide not to, with no shipping back costs to pay. these are the terms so let me know what you think please and if you’re into it, please email me your info (full name, address and phone#) so I can contact eBay in order initiate the transaction as soon as possible for your convenience.

Thanks and looking forward to your reply,
    Brenda

I saw a 2003 Honda Accord EX for sale(by dealer section) and when I emailed, this is what he sent me back. I thank you for this website to help me confirm that this could be a scam!

    Hello,

I`m SSgt. David Damrell. You have to know that the 2003 Honda Accord EX 4 Cyl Automatic I am selling is 100% working and great looking, no flaws or dents, no scratches or any kind of damage. The title is clear. It has 87,109 miles. The VIN# is 1HGCM56663A102462 This vehicle engine runs very, very smooth. No electrical problems on this beauty. This detailed vehicle makes the exterior looks like it just came off the assembly line.
    Options:
Automatic Transmission Premium Sound With CD Changer Sunroof Dual Zone Climate Control Air Conditioning Climate Control Heated Seats Tilt Steering Wheel Traction Control
Clock Cruise Control Leather Shifter Leather Steering Wheel Power Driver’s Seat Power Locks Power Mirrors Power Steering Power Windows Privacy Glass / Tinted Windows Steering Wheel

(if the above link does not work copy and paste it into a new web browser window)
As I know that my current situation is pretty special I want the deal closed only through eBay’s Buyer Protection Program in order for you to be 100% protected. You will make the payment to eBay and they will hold the money until you receive the car. ONLY AFTER you receive the car and inspect it (for 10 days) eBay will release the payment to me; in this way we are both protected. Anyway i am sure that if you won`t be satisfied with the car i will surely find another buyer in your area and there will be no need for you to ship the car back.
I am located in Madrid,Spain and I was sent here to improve the military relationships between our country and Spain. One month ago, my wife moved here with me and brought the car with her, but now we have to sell it back in the United States because In order to be able to register this car here, I would have to pay very high import/custom taxes. My final price on it is $ 1600. If you will take it for this price, I am willing to handle the shipping. It will be shipped from here by plane with US Air Military Cargo so it will not cost me anything. You will get it to the nearest airport in your area and then it will be trucked forward to your place. You will receive the car in about 4 days. Please get back to me asap if you decide to buy, and include in your e-mail your full name and address where you want it shipped so I can start the deal with eBay. You will receive all the transaction payment and shipping details from them.
    Respectfully,
    David Damrell

    Jane,

Thanks for posting. Please forward that email to abuse@photobucket.com and indicated the criminal nature of the abuse. They’ll close the album and make the scammer work a little harder to find another site for his photos.

This is the email I got in response to a vehicle I’d inquired about on craigslist.com. The scammer is mentioned above to have an msn account as well. The email address was abriannaelise@gmail.com.

    Hello,
This 2006 Honda Odyssey TOURING DVD PLAYER Van V6 engine, an automatic transmission and only 86,000 miles, has no leaks or drips and has never been smoked in. This car has been extremely well maintained with a full service history. I am the second owner of this car. I bought it when I was serving in Fort Belvoir and is slightly used in 100% working and looking conditions with a clear title free of encumbrances and liens. I have dropped my price to $2,800.00 USD since I need to sell it before February 18th, when I will be deployed in Afghanistan with my platoon replacing the troops scheduled to come home.If you’re interested to conclude this purchase in a timely manner email me your: FULL NAME and SHIPPING ADDRESS & PHONE NUMBER to open a case with eBay’s Buyer Protection Program and and they will contact you to explain the entire procedure. The financial part will be managed by them, which means that you will have a 7 days inspection period before committing to buy the vehicle. In this way both, buyer and seller are 100% covered during the steps of this transaction.
Hope to hear from you soon,Corporal Abrianna Elise…….

I found the listing on craigslist for Raleigh, NC. I figured it was too good to be true!

    Hello,

This 2007 Honda Odyssey EX-L is still available for sale and the asking price is $ 4500. It has not been involved in any accidents and all maintenance is up to date. Clean and clear title in hand and is ready to go.

The car is currently located at approximately five miles of Billings, MT. stored in military compound. It’s available for immediate pick-up but it could also be transported free of charge by a military carrier, the shipping process takes 2-3 business days from the shipping date to arrive. I’m looking for a quick sale, that’s why the price has been reduced to avoid wasting time with negotiations and find a buyer before my upcoming deployment take place.

For a complete description of the car and more photos, please click on the link below or copy and paste it into your browser window.
